Pilgrims have been walking the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage for over 1000 years. Its history and significance make it a spiritual epicentre for the Christian faith after Jerusalem and Rome. I will be walking the most popular route (The Camino Frances, The French Way) all the way to Santiago then to Finisterre

Last day in Romania
7th Sept - Today is my last night here in Bucharest. This is indeed a fascinating city, due to its communist past, there are some great buildings here to look at (Parliament Palace), but the communist party has also made a mess of the city and its very hard to get around. I did a lot of walking today - trying to find the Revolution square & churches, which is hidden behind huge apartment blocks. Anyway.... looking forward to be back in London for a week.... and not having to bring the backpack around.
