These moments are the reason we travel, the reason we sacrifice cars, houses, mortgages, investments, careers, and occasionally friends in pursuit of the complete happiness coupled with the element of surprise that can only be found on the road"

"Hope you're enjoying the Backpacker blog. There'll be a new one up on smh.com.au every Wednesday, for a bit of light hump day relief to remind you of why you went to work in the first place: to save up enough money to get the hell out of here!" --> Yep... saving right now!
"When you get yourself into a country where the English language is rendered useless but you still manage to find a way to communicate and get to do all you wish to do. Teaches you a lot about humankind this travel business. Get out there kids"
I think I am going to print this blog article out for my mum so she doesnt think I am the only Psycho who thinks about travelling out there.
A few of my memorable travelling moments:
1. With my 2 best friends, Emily & Elysha (Mushroom with fried rice) experience - Amsterdam.
2. Seeing the thousands and thousands of Tulips during the opening of Kuekenhof
3. Train ride from Oslo to Bergen - Norway is simply breathtaking. The view from the train: One word -Amazing!
4. Santorini - sunset. What else can I say?
5. Pub Crawl - Munich 3pubs, 2 bars, 1 club. Drinks: vodka shots + 1 litre beers. I am surprise I even remember it.
The whole Egypt trip, Portugal's bus ride from hell, sitting down for beer on on the side of the road in Turkey laughing about everything, sipping wine in Bordeaux, staying in ex military zone in Latvia....etc etc. I could go on and on........
Write in and tell me what has been your most memorable perfect moment. Love to hear from you guys

Top 5:
1. Santorini sunset - you are so right, it was beautiful...especially sitting on the balcony of your hotel just relaxing.
2. Jungfraujoch - so white and skies were so blue
3. Zell Am See - snow on trees, it was like being in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
4. Forbidden City - so huge (you have to block out all the vendors though)
5. Royal Garden Party - got to see the Queen and have afternon tea at Buckingham Palace!
Bless you for finding this article!!! We all feel the same way about travelling don't we? BIG sigh...
Some choice moments:
a) Watching the sunset from my Sarajevan friend's house after meeting her for first time.
b) Eating unexpectedly perfect Japanese food in Belgrade with new backpacker friend after 2 weeks of heavy Eastern European fare - bliss.
c) A blissful summer stay at a bohemian hostel in small and peaceful Cesky Krumlov.
d) Waking up mid 5 hr bus ride at rest stop between Rijeka and Zadar, to find a painterly, barren and beautiful landscape in shades of blue, grey and violet.
e) The freedom of being a single girl hehe :)
