It was Labour Day Long Weekend, so me and Thuy and Val decide to get out of Melbourne for some fresh air and some Jam & Scones. We left Melbourne around 1ish and by the time we got to Mt Dan - I was starving. We chose to have Jam & Scones at this traditional English Tea House called Mrs Marples. The tea house does look like those in Cotwolds huh? Besides eating Jam & Scones, me and Thuy also ate a Cottage Pie ;p

After stuffing ourselves with food, we decide to take a walk up the Kokoda Trail National Park. It was a short uphill walk... but me and Val were unfit, hence the photo of us sitting down catching out breath.
We left Mt Dan around 5-ish and Thuy said she crave spicy food. During the drive down, we debated on what food to have and the final decision was Thai Food at Ying Thai in Victoria Street, Richmond.
Food is never disappointing in Ying Thai and always spicy eventhough we asked for "Mild". At around 9pm, the owner of Ying Thai came up to the level 2 sitting area and asked if anyone drives a Toyota Corolla. Thuy immediately stopped eating and said its her. The owner sort of went quiet and then go "I think you should go look at your car downstairs". A white van has hit her on the right hand side of the car and then made her car hit the rubbish bin that was bolted to the curb on the left hand side of her car. The van didnt stop. Luckily the owner jolted down the rego number and called the police for us. Hopefully the Police will be able to track down the driver of the other car soon. Good Luck Thuy.
