It was a nice sunny day one weekend and I have decided to once again be a tourist in Melbourne. I am having mixed feelings about leaving Melbourne this time round, life is comfy here and Melbourne IS a very nice city, but of course the world is big and I need to go see it before I get too old for it.
This time, I have decided to take a cruise from the Southbank to Williamstown. I like city cruises, its a good way to see a lot of things that you cannot see on land. I did lots of city cruises when I was in Europe, so why not here?
First landmark we passed is the Eureka Tower (World's tallest apartment block)
Then its the Northbank (Docklands) with its funky bridges and many many apartment blocks
The Gasworks (where they filmed Mad Max) and another landmark of Melbourne, the Westgate Bridge
Finally, after arriving in Williamstown, a french crepe from Brittany of France
Other things that I will miss are of course all my friends in Melbourne. Last Saturday, Mery and Edward has nicely cooked a feast for us for their very belated House Warming. Edward has outdone himselg by making 5 Chinese Malaysian dishes. Thank you Edward & Mery again.
