Torres Del Paine (Chile)

From El Calafate in Argentina, we crossed one last time to the Chilean side. We took a 6 hours bus ride from Calafate to Puerto Natales. We met a Singaporean in our hostel and he decide to come with us on the same bus as he was meeting someone to trek the W Circuit at Torres Del Paine.
At Puerto Natales, we stayed at Niko II's Hostel. Puerto Natales is basically a port town and the gateway into Torres Del Paine National Park. Most people come here to sort out their tracking permits and then leave. We were the same. This is also the last place we meet people from Israel. They dont seem to travel beyond this point for some reason.
We made our way to Torres Del Paine National Park the next morning, with another English couple from our hostel. We dont have time to do the W circuit (minimum is 5 days trekking) so we decide to cheat and do a 1 day 'All In' Tour. Torres is Tower in Spanish and it was an amazing sight to look at the Torres at every angle. It changes colour at different times of the day too. Amazing sight! The emerald green lagoons and lake also made it really nice to take photos. It was a really windy day and we found it quite hard to even walk. I feel sorry for Jeff our singaporean friend who is camping for 4 days - however I am sure he will have very good photos.
We left Torres Del Paine at 4pm, got back to Puerto Natales to catch the last bus out to Puntas Arenas at 8.30pm and slept at the Puntas Arenas airport. Our flight out of Puntas Arenas to Rio de Janeiro was at 4.35am and we decide its not worth getting a hostel room. We arrived at Rio eventually at 8pm. Wrecked. Yet again.
