Rio Carnaval has become world-famous through the Samba Parade, a show, a display and competition of the Rio samba schools. The two major days which are on Carnival Sunday and Monday. We went to the Carnival Monday show because thats the day the winner is chosen.

Beija-Flor
Due to the rain and whatever else that happened - we only got to watch Beija Flor at 7.30am and we left the Sambadromo at 8am. We were there from 10pm - it was a long long night/day! It was definitely an experienced! It's hard not to be amazed and impressed by the efforts that all these Samba School put into.
