Day 40 Olveiroa to Cee

We left our pension at 8am this morning after having breakfast and started our walk to Cee which was 20km away.

It was raining again so rain gear was put on before setting out. We walked quite slowly at first, only getting to Logroso which was 3km after 1 hour. There were lots of hills again. We made a brief stop to buy a sandwich and then on towards Hospital which was another 2.5km further. Hospital was the final rest stop before we walk 15km into the moss woods towards Cee so we made a longer stop to eat something before heading on further.

I have enough food on me so I only had a hot chocolate and a piece of cake and on we went.  It was still raining so its hood up and music on and walk walk walk. Because there was only 1 way and its open space, it was really pleasant to walk and listen to my own footsteps and do a walking meditation.

I didn't stop for 10km, eating my chocolate croissant while I continue to walk. After 10km we saw the sea for the first time and it was a beautiful sight. I stopped to admire the view for a good 10minutes and then walked on.

The walk into Cee was mainly downhill after that point, lots of big rocks. We had intended to find a hotel/pension in Cee but somehow walked into Corcubion and since we didnt want to walk further or backwards we went to the nearest pension called pension Beiramar and again took a room with own bathroom for €40.

Lunch was at a local marina cafeteria and I finally had padron peppers!
