Day 39 Negreira to Olveiroa

Didnt sleep well last night due to super snorers in the room. I had ear plugs on but could still hear

Got up at 6:40am and had packet chicken soup with noodles at the Albergue with some bread before drying out. We knew on the route today that food will not be available so I ate lots and carried some food with me

Left the Albergue at 7:45am and arrived at 4:30pm at Olveiroa which was a long 34km way. My feet are killing me.

The first part of the day, most of the 12km was uphill through forest. We made a quick food stop at the first sight of a bar and then kept walking on, intending to stop at Moranas for the day. Unfortunately when we got to Moranas the alberque was closed so we were forced to walk another 15km to the nest town Olveiroa. We had already walked 20km to Moranas and I was so tired but being faced with no choice, I took some pain killers, had a sandwich and hot chocolate and walked on

Luckily after only the a small climb most of the 15km into Olveiroa was going downhill or flat. I again put my music on and just walked and walked and walked. If you shut out the pain your mind is telling you with loud music, it helps!

Since we haven't seen many people today and even though I was walking with Line the whole day, we gave each our space and didn't really talk all day so we can give some thoughts to what we have achieved so far on the camino.

We arrived at Olveiroa totally exhausted and initially went to pension As Pias to ask whether they have rooms but they are fully booked so we went back to the Albergue casa loncho which also have a pension on site and took a twin room with own bathroom for €40

I still can't tell whether I have achieved what I wanted from the camino. I guess time will tell. In 2 days I will reach Finisterre and that is when this camino will end. There will be lots of deep thinking in the next 2 days.

Tomorrow we head to Cee and I think it's less than 20km away with some hills in the morning
