Today is July 14th - which is also France's National Day or better known as Bastille Day. We arrived in Nimes from Nice late afternoon yesterday and while wondering the city of really well preserved impressive roman buildings some locals told us that there will "artificial fire" at the park at 10.30pm. We then had a really nice meal and walked towards the park with the crowds. We were not disappointed with the amazing display of fireworks. It went on for 20mins and it was great to celebrate Bastille with the locals here.
