Interlaken & Basel
Day 5 - Flew from Prague to Basel. Can't leave Prague without taking photo of the "Dancing Building" - so went and did that before going to the airport. Arrive at 14:00 in Basel, met an Slovakian/American and we walked Basel together for 2.5hrs. Basel is pretty small... cute and quiet. After that, I took my 2hrs train ride to Lucerne and was met with a thunderstorm that didnt stop at all. Got soaked through when I arrived in Lucerne. Not happy! Had to take a taxi to the hostel as I wasnt going to stand in the bus stop when there its gail force wind out there with thunder and lightning.
Day 6 - Still drizzling this morning in Lucerne. Went wandering the old town with Kamilla, an Israeli girl in my dorm. Then we took our separate trains out - me to Interlakena and she to Zurich. I was lucky to get on the twice daily Golden Pass Panaromic train from Lucerne to Interlaken - the scenery is breathtaking on the way. Until its starts to pour down in rain again. The rain has finally stopped now... but its still really grey. I got totally lost going to our hostel in Interlaken and wondered into an "old folks home" to ask for Help. The old folks in there were really nice though. Even gave me a map. Am waiting for Michele to arrive on train now. Lets hope tomorrow its going to be sunny when we go up the Jungfrau. Wish us luck
