Arrived in Vilnius, the capital City of Lithuania by bus from Kaunas this morning. Staying at the Old Town Hostel n alraedy met 2 melburnians. Will wonder out to the old town now to explore some sights after this. At least Lithuania has proper tourist information centres....unlike Romania.
Explored the old town yesterday and spent most of today at the KGB Museum trying to absorb information about the KGB and how Lithuania was wiped off the map by Soviet. Its all very interesting and after all that, we head to the Republic of Uzpis where drunks and artists declared themselves a separate republic to Lithuania.
