Regent's Park (London)

16th July 2005- We were all excited about going to Hampton Court Palace. Meeting at 11.30am at Waterloo station with our picnic lunches and etc. Got to Waterloo and was informed that all trains to Hampton Court Palace are cancelled for the day. (bummer). Not to be deterred, we decide to walk to Westminster Bridge to find a bus that would get us to Hampton Court Palace. No luck - after an hour. Since the sun was out (rare in London) and we all had our picnic lunches, we decide to head down to Regent's Park instead. Regent's Park is definitely one of the nicest parks in London - flowers are arranged nicely, lots of fountains and nice park lanes.
