Pilgrims have been walking the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage for over 1000 years. Its history and significance make it a spiritual epicentre for the Christian faith after Jerusalem and Rome. I will be walking the most popular route (The Camino Frances, The French Way) all the way to Santiago then to Finisterre

Cochem & Trier
23rd August - took the 9am ferry down the river Rhine. Met 3 priests from California, who was also at WYD 2005. We were heading the same way, which was Cochem and Trier. They were really nice, we shared a bottle of Morselle Valley wine on the ferry. Trier is the oldest town in Germany. Founded on 15BC and it is a bishop town. Statues of saints and various religious figures can be found in nearly every street corner. The shops and houses here all have a very distinctive colours. Again, when the photos are up, u guys will know what i am talking about. Stay tuned
