The whole way I walked on the freeway because tarmac is better for my feet than gravels. The meseta continues so its open and no shade again and not much hills. I bumped into Line and Rebecca at the lunch stop at Bercianos and we walked into town together. We had wanted to go to the municipal alberque but while getting lost finding it we walked passed alberque la Laguna and it looked good so we decide to stay here.
I have a new blister under my compeed and it bothered me after 10km so I limped into town most of the way
We got here at 1pm and it was very nice with a nice lawn and beach chair so we relaxed a bit and did our usual chores. Took off my compeed now to air my feet and hopefully tomorrow I can walk the 25km into the next big town
A Spanish peregrino, Antonio from Galicia made rice and tomato vege for us for lunch and we had the usual pilgrim menu for dinner. Met a German called Alex from somewhere near Stuttgart and he joined us for dinner. Bedtime at 830pm
