Left the alberque at 8:10am and arrived at Arzua shortly after 4pm. The first 6km I walked really fast while chatting to Lee the guy from Brisbane and it was a pleasant walk again through pine forest and he told a bit of his life and his reason for walking the camino.
We then stopped for our 2nd breakfast at Lebereiro and I had croissant and mint tea. Caught up with Lisa and was walking with her and Gina and Tara until Melide where we stopped for Pulpo (Octopus) and some local Galician Ribeiro white wine which was vey tasty.
After lunch we walked the 6km to Boede and that's when we encounter the hills and more hills. The glass of wine dehydrated me and it was a challenge so we slowed down a little, catching up on more camino gossips.
After Boede we have another 8km to Arzua so we kept walking. Stopping only for a quick fresh orange juice at Ribadiso which was 3km out of where we stopped.
Arzua is not very interesting and we are in La Foente Albergue and the woman here is not nice at all. Oh well, at least the rooms are clean and the beds are firm.
Tomorrow it's a short stage of 20km to Perdruozo before another final short stage of 20km into Santiago the day after.
Can't believe that in 2 days we will arrive at Santiago and the sun is still shining.
